There were two interesting and phenomenal stories that the people of this area like to relate. The first was of a “silver mining” camp where an interesting spring water had caused those who drank it to develop the power to levitate. The second was called the “San Juan Weather Phenomenon” and has been the subject of study by the best meteorologists for the last fifty years.
The little stones were very similar to concrete, only much stronger. The crystals of the mountain had the same effect on water as the stone.
